Are you the neighbourhood fixer-upper?  Do you like to tackle your own DIY projects?  Then volunteer at the ReStore!  Even if you don't have any handyman experience, this is the perfect place to learn some and show off your customer service skills.  With donations coming in every hour and a flurry of customers bustling in and out, the ReStore changes every day and tasks will vary depending on the day's challenge.  Because of that, to make the most of your time and the most of your valuable skills, we ask that you donate a minimum of 20 hours with us.  Volunteers will work with the ReStore manager to prioritize tasks and choose assignments that match your skills and abilities. 

You’ll make new friends, develop new skills and help a future homeowner.  We need you to help with:

  • customer service
  • product merchandising
  • inventory
  • receive and process donations
  • price products
  • housekeeping
  • truck driver assistant

Whether you’re 16 or 96, you can do something to help change the life of a family.  We offer you all the required and mandated safety training, a thorough orientation and supply you with the necessary safety equipment and tools including steel toe boots.  You're always in good hands with HabitatWR.
