Twenty years ago, for the first time in Canada, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region brought together women from the community and beyond in a shared mission to help a single mother in need of a safe and decent place to call home. In 2020 we are celebrating the history of our Women Build program and working together to empower women to invest, advocate, and take action for a future where everyone has a decent place to live.
