Seeing Future Homeowners come on site to build – at first feeling nervous excitement, quickly became part of the fabric of the site – arriving regularly, anticipating the completion of their home, getting to know their community. Single moms who jumped right in – learning as much as they could. Couples building together. And then having volunteers getting to know the stories of the families. It felt like real community."
