Pride Build welcomes friends and supporters of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to swing a hammer and build with us at our Kehl Street location in support of our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. No construction experience is required.

Building affordable homes is everyone’s business and Pride Build provides a great way to celebrate diversity and inclusivity by helping to build up our communities. Join us as we harness the power of Pride Month to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance.

All Pride Build participants are asked to fundraise towards our goal of $2500 and build with us for one day. All funds raised go directly to support Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region’s build program.

The event is 8am-4pm at 242 Kehl Street, Kitchener.

We provide:

• Tools, supplies, hard hats, experienced Crew Leaders and enthusiasm
• A Pride Build event shirt
• A hearty lunch and snacks to fuel your day
• A keepsake group photo
• An invitation to our next Family Dedication event
