Corona Virus (COVID-19) Information

In the interest of the health and safety of our customers, staff and volunteers, the Habitat Waterloo Region ReStores, Build Site and Administration Offices will be closed until further notice.  Please watch our website for updates and information about all Habitat ReStore programs.

To all Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region volunteers,

Based on updated provincial directions around COVID-19, Dr. Hsiu-Li Wang, Region of Waterloo Public Health’s Acting Medical Officer of Health, has recommended an increased emphasis on social distancing in order to slow the spread of the virus within the community.

To this point, we have decided to cease
all volunteer opportunities until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you up to date as changes come in.

Thank you for your commitment to the work of Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region.  Your time and dedication is not only appreciated, it is valued and celebrated by the Habitat Waterloo Region homeowners, board members and staff.

We recognize that for some, volunteering is a social life-line.  In this season of social distancing, please take care of yourself and family, and ensure you reach out to one another in other safe means including remotely.

For information on how to self-isolate, and other details around the coronavirus, please visit the Region of Waterloo website:
